Base Pay Range: $35.21 - $51.30 (Admin 4 scale)

What you will do (RCM): The Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) oversees all billing, claims, accounts receivable, and payer contracting functions for the organization. This role ensures that revenue-related processes support accurate, timely reimbursement while maintaining compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, commercial payers, and grant requirements. The RCM will play a vital role in financial forecasting, reporting, and the sustainability of services in a frontier healthcare environment. Must be a certified coder.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end revenue cycle process: intake, eligibility, authorization, billing, collections, and payment reconciliation
  • Supervise and train billing staff; coordinate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams
  • Oversee accurate and timely submission of claims to insurers
  • Utilize coding certification to review claims and ensure correct coding
  • Analyze denial trends, implement corrective actions, and work with payers to resolve disputes
  • Ensure compliance with payer requirements and audit standards (Medicaid, Medicare, state reporting, etc.)
  • Collaborate on annual budgeting and monthly financial reporting by providing RCM metrics
  • Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue cycle health
  • Optimize EHR and billing platforms for streamlined workflows
  • Support integration of new service lines and payer contracts

  • Must have strong computer skills including the ability to document in an electronic medical record, use electronic time tracking, and the ability to use Google Workspace, specifically Drive, Meets, Spreadsheets, Word documents, and email
  • Ability to work as a team member, establish priorities, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Display a non-judgmental attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Detailed-oriented; ability to maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork


Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare billing or revenue cycle, with 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role
  • Deep familiarity with Medicaid, behavioral health billing, and grant-funded service models
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, payer regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Proficient in EHRs, billing software, and Excel-based reporting - Experience in OCHIN Epic or Epic preferred
  • Ability to adhere to WVCW's drug-free workplace which encourages a safe, healthy, and productive work environment
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects; climb stairs several times a day
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check PRIOR TO STARTING ONSITE
